"My condolences to Barry's family. Just read the news here in Sauble Beach where I worked with Barry at the Chamber when he was president. Sauble the Sunny Seagull was brought to life by Barry. I considered Barry a good friend. He will be sadly missed."

"For over 20 ys, Barry remained one of the most positive, down-to-earth people I have ever known. He remains a bright light in my mind (or is that him calling me from beyond?!). And I am a better person for having known him. I fondly shout out the fun we have had: motorcycling in Ontario, Sturgis, fished, skied, did business together, countless drinks & smoked cigars and traded life (& wives) stories! Miss you Bahr!"

I always wondered where & how Barry was and now to find out that he was living so close to me ! Please let me know when A Celebration of Life is to be held. I will try to find the picture of Barry and all our classmates when they closed S.S. #5 school ( grade 7) "

"I was fortunate enough to have known Barry, he had such a zest for life! I admired all he did for people he knew and the charities that meant so much to him. He was a beautiful person inside and out. He will be missed."

"I've known Barry for a couple of decades now, we had spent many days/evenings joking & discussing our mutual business. Barry was a great friend and business partner over the years, we always enjoyed a glass or two of bourbon and even a cigar on occasion."
